In today's world, more and more people are deciding not to vaccinate their children. This may seem like a no-brainer thing to do. After all, you do need to be vaccinated in order to participate in event he simple things like school. But some people believe that it is not necessary to be vaccinated to be healthy. They decide to believe in alternative medicines, like homeopathy and crystal therapy.
About a month later, another boy aged 16, who was not vaccinated, was reported to have the measles virus. He went on a scouting trip with the first boy. The 16 year old was not checked, however, due to the firs boy not reporting that he and the other one had been around each other.
This chain goes on all the way to a 4 year old boy who might have attracted the disease from his brother who attended a tutoring center with the first patient (the 15 year old boy).
The first non vaccinated 15 year old boy was the start of an outbreak that started in California, then traveled to Nevada. These people were all non vaccinated.
If these people had all been vaccinated against the measles virus, this could have been preventable.
According to George Han, "In this outbreak, the six non vaccinated patients with measles all had parents who had chosen not to vaccinated them during childhood." If these people simply had been vaccinated during childhood, none of them would have gotten the measles.
Why This Is a Bad Idea

Future Predictions Of Outbreaks
Above is only one example of a recent outbreak that happened back in 2018. On the data of this article being published, "Hundreds of unvaccinated college students have been quarantined amid a measles outbreak" (Buzzfeed). The same point can be said for this; if the students and staff parents had chosen to vaccinate their children during childhood, there would not be a measles outbreak at a school in Los Angeles.
If people continue to not vaccinate their children, diseases that have already been eradicated will be making a reappearance. Things like diphtheria, chickenpox, smallpox, mumps, hepatitis A and B, rubella, etc. will all become mainstream again if the entire industrialized world decides to not vaccinate their children anymore.
This would lead to a lot of major population setbacks. While yes, the world population will continue to grow and could be as many a 9 or 10 billion people by the year 2050, imagine if everyone now was not vaccinated. The world population could not be what it is today. Hell, maybe Elon Musk or Mark Zuckerberg would have died as a baby. Facebook, what? Tesla, are you crazy?
How do we know someone died today who was not vaccinated and could have changed the world with their ideas?
